Abstract

The increasing digitalization of business activities has created the need for entrepreneurship education to incorporate technology-enabled learning approaches. This study examined the relationship between digital learning platforms, artificial intelligence, and social media/digital marketing tools and entrepreneurship education among Business Education students in Colleges of Education in Benue State, Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. The population comprised 650 Business Education students drawn from the Colleges of Education in Oju and Katsina-Ala. Using Yamane's formula, a sample size of 250 students was selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire titled New Technologies and Entrepreneurship Education Questionnaire (NTEEQ). The instrument was validated by experts in Business Education and Educational Technology and yielded a Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.817. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. Findings revealed significant positive relationships between digital learning platforms (β = 0.256, p < .05), artificial intelligence (β = 0.198, p < .05), social media/digital marketing tools (β = 0.317, p < .05), and entrepreneurship education. Social media and digital marketing tools showed the strongest relationship with entrepreneurship education. The study concludes that technology-enabled learning tools are important factors associated with improved entrepreneurship education outcomes among Business Education students. The study recommends that Colleges of Education integrate technology-driven entrepreneurial learning activities into instructional delivery and strengthen students' exposure to practical digital business tools.
