Abstract


This paper discusses Professor Onwuekwe as a composer and an icon to humanity whose impact on many lives have left indelible memories through her efforts in music creativity, education, and human capital development in Nigeria. Findings reveal that her compositions, accumulated experiences, and documented works serve as rich resource materials for music performers, analysts, teachers/ pedagogues, researchers, and scholars.
